Taely Freeman

Taely is a student at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design where she will be receiving her Master of Architecture in May of 2025. Her previous education includes a Bachelor of Architecture alongside a Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky in 2021. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has developed a critical perspective on design and acquired a diverse skillset, allowing her to navigate the complexities of the process with proficiency and adaptability. As a student, she has had the opportunity to navigate various leadership roles, whether it be involvement with studio, Student Council, or as a teaching assistant for a variety of introductory, foundation, and comprehensive studios. She has interned at numerous award-winning firms, including PATTERNS, HOK, and DIGSAU, and has contributed work for both Almost Studio and The LADG. In reflection of her years in academia and professional practice, she has developed a deep interest in experimental and thoughtful design that captures the zeitgeist of contemporary culture and the power of place.
